You totally thought I meant pounds didn't cha! HA HA HA! Actually I would love to lose 42 more pounds, but that is for another post! (psst, I am still losing weight though, about 30lbs so far...yeah, still awesome! ;)
Actually I counted them up and I will be having 42 more 'First Day of School's' with my kids, until they are off for college! 8 more for Amanda, Em gets 10 more, and both Sam and Izzy get 12 each. But if they are overlapping how many years is that?...OK...+10, then carry the 1...Holy Crow!!! 16 more years of First Days of School. OK, now I am offically freaked out!!! Boy, that is aLOT of pics for you all to deal with. Friendship is hard isn't it! It is weird enough that I have a 4th grader...WHAT? A 4th grader? How in the heck did my little Amanda grow up so fast? I gotta stop feeding that kid, every time I turn around she is taller and taller!

Here are my girls on thier first day of 4th and 2nd grade...

Our sweet Roses, Miss Amanda, such a beautiful girl! After the spelling words she ended up with in 3rd grade (diagnostician, hyperventilate, reciprocal, predudicial, harmonious, Palestinian, and columnar to name a few-she was in her own spelling word group) I shudder to think what she will be learning this year! She is doing GREAT in Math and this girl is a reading WHIZ! I LOVE the tenacity she shows every time she starts reading a new book...I have to check several times each night to make sure she isn't up reading by lamplight....*sniffle* just like her Mom used to! :D

That Firecracker Emily! Notice how she is wearing a very stunning necklace? She designed it herself and I helped her put it together, we had some Mama/Daughter crafty time over the break. Plus she is seriously lacking in the tooth catagory! She said that since her front teeth were gone she should be a Vampire for Halloween, cuz it makes the others look like they are fangs...so...proud...so VERY proud! ;)
I drove them to the busstop on the first day...heaven forbid they walk the 2 minutes it takes, LOL, nah- it is kindof a tradition! After all how could I take tons of pics if I wasn't there! Sam was NOT that happy that the girls had to leave, he was enjoying having someone to fight with during thier break. This is him pouting into his carseat!
What made him happier was that I FINALLY found a match-box sized School bus for him, he LOVED IT!!! He kept calling it "Sista's Bus!!!" and then pointing in the windows to show me that they were 'inside' so freakin' cute! :D
So another school year begins...hallelujah!!!
Two more years and I will be puttin' my little Mister Sam on a bus...ACK! Where does the time go?
OK, after the girls left for school I found THIS video on my camera:
I had given my camera to Amanda to hold while I was dealing with Sam when we were waiting for the bus.....I am the luckiest Mom in the world! Aren't they the cutest?

First of all, congrats on the 30 lbs. that is no small feat.
Secondly, WHEN IN THE HECK did your girls get so big???
30 lbs.? You do rock!!!
The first day of school is so exciting! I think part of it is I love having my kids experience things I have such fond memories about, ya know?
They look darling!!
Those 'first day of school' outfits are something else I remember so clearly (especially those dreaded middle school years) I just want to scream, "WHY DIDN'T SOME ONE TELL ME??" The hair, the glasses, the braces, the makeup, the clothing choice....stop the madness!!!
Sorry, I digress--Your little ladies on the other hand--look super cute!! :o)
A vampire for Halloween....? Just warms the cockles of my heart, you must be so proud. ;o)
And finally, could Sam be any cuter? I think not.
