I know that I have been REALLY bad about updating this poor blog...I guess that it is just too easy to spend a few minutes on facebook than write out my 'monologue' for the Blog, pick out the pics to share, then wait for them all to upload! Laziness I call thee MEGAN! ;) Plus everyone but ME had October off. We are on year round school the girls had ALL of Oct as a Track break, and Josh took off the month to study for the upcoming Step 1 Medical Boards...ugh. So when everyone else is on Vacation...MOMMY IS NOT!!! Oh man, I swear the house was a DISASTER the whole month! It was all I could do to keep the downstairs (kitchen, dining, family, laundry room) useable...I totally ignored upstairs...Wow, is it a mess!!! Everyone goes back to school/Work in November...HALLELUJAH!!!
(I will keep it brief ...um, well as brief as I am able! ;)...cuz I am so far behind in the blog-o-sphere and I am actually finishing this post that I originally started on Halloween on Thanksgiving day...but November is for another post...)
Josh was feeling sick on the Friday before Halloween, so I took the kids to the ward Trunk-or-Treat along with our awesome neighbor buddy Raul...

Amanda is the cutest pirate ever, huh?!? ;D

Ariel never looked as sweet as my Emily in her Little Mermaid costume!

...and before you ask YES those are Batman PJ's! Sam has really been into Batman for the past few weeks, I couldn't figure out why at first. I mean he has seen all the superheros, why Batman...then it hit me- Batman is the only superhero who drives a car! ROFL!!! :D As y'all know Sam LOOOOOOOVES anything that has wheels, so I am quite sure that the Batmobile has turned Sam into a Batman fan! :D I got him these PJ's and he seriously didn't take them off for DAYS! I had to literally sneak them into the washer! LOL I finally went out and got him some Batman Tshirts so he would change! Anywhoo...I figured why in the world would I spend $29.99 on a Batman costume when Sam already has these nice comfy Batman PJ's, complete with Cape and everything? Yeah, that is just how I roll. Plus I didn't have to have him change out of his costume for bed now did I!?!

We have had this 'Little Devil' costume since Amanda was in size 2T...and NEVER has it seemed a more appropriate costume than when Izzy wore it this year! :D She just barely fit into it, but it was just too perfect for her to wear. Just look at her...so cute...so innocent...so sweet...all these things are true...oh, and SOOOO EVIL!!! :D That girl can get into ANYTHING! I swear all I do when she is awake is walk behind her and take away potentially dangerous or messy things before she can rain destruction down on my house! ;)

Luckily my brother Jared was over when we did the actual Trick-or-Treating on Halloween night- he helped carry the vastness of Izzy around the neighborhood! (Yes I have a stroller...three in fact, but that didn't occur to me until we were too far away from our garage to bother coming back for one...duh!!! ;)
Sam was Batman once again, Izzy had totally goo/gunk/stickified up her Devil costume from the night before so the girls thought she should be a Peacock fairy from the dress-up box, Amanda wore the Little Mermaid costume, and Emily created her own Hannah Montana costume from her wardrobe...I know, my kids are AWESOME!!!
