Elizabeth's Blessing

Can I just say how fabulously, awesomely, amazingly talented my Mother-in-Law is? She is one of the most gifted seamstress' I have ever met!!! She made this GORGEOUS blessing dress for Elizabeth, I LOVE it!!!!! Eyelet lace is so simply classy, and this fabric trimmed in the stuff is absolutely perfect, I am sure I couldn't have found a better dress if I had looked all over the world. Gee, do you think I like it? :) Plus made by Grandma? That much better! Her little booties were tatted by Josh's Aunt Audrey- such an amazing talent as well, I really need to ask her to teach me how to tatt- what a shame that it is almost a lost art. They are beautiful, we waited to bless her almost too long for everything to fit, because she has grown so fast plus she started out so huge! Grandma had the foresight to make her dress ample, and I stuffed her chubby little toes into the booties that probably wouldn't have fit in another week! I am so glad that everything fit and looked so beautiful! She looked perfect!

We waited until the same weekend as Amanda's Baptism to bless Miss Izzy so family and friends only had to make one trip. It was great, she yowled into the microphone almost the whole blessing, but it was beautiful anyway! Josh, of course, did a great job...he should have lots of practice since it was #4! tee hee.

What a beautiful dress. I love the eyelet. I think I can seriously see your 3 other kids in her. And those shoes are gorgeous too. What a fun day.

what a cutie!! i want to squeeze her cheecks! i can't believe how big all your kids are! my girls ask about amanda and emily all the time. was it weird to have amanda get baptised? i think i'll freak next summer when it's katelyn's turn. oh, i'm a twilight mom too. i don't know how excited i am for the movie. i loved the books so much...i'm afraid of being disappointed. and...i don't think the guy they pick to play edward does the book character justice! anyway, i'm glad we're back intouch. isn't blogging the best?!
