I can't believe that I have to wait for two weeks to see the season premiere of CSI (the original one) I don't usually pay attention to, or remember when, TV shows are on- (especially since whenever I get time to catch up on shows- I can see them on the internet and be able to pause them when the kids bug me) But usually the first and last episodes of a season are really great. I have been waiting all summer to see if Warrick Brown lives on CSI. Yeah, yeah, I know...I have no life! He probably won't. Stupid TV shows. What will I have to distract me from my lack of life after the season premieres?
Whoa, rereading this really makes me feel lame. *sigh*
Tonight they killed Pratt on ER, Warrick will probably die on CSI...at least Horatio Caine faked his own death on CSI:Miami. Loser=me.
Anyway.
Last night I proved that I am not as uncordinated as I usually feel. There was a stupid disgusting cockroach climbing up my front room wall- way up by the ceiling
(oh how I loathe them)
I couldn't try to reach up and squish it, because, well...1st I'm not quite tall enough, B- there was a plant in the way on the floor and lastly what if it flipped onto my head? Ugh, ewwww, nasty, gross, dirty, disgusting...I would be still be screaming if that had happened. So I picked up a couple of the girls flip-flops and started chucking them across the room at the disgusting creature...AND I HIT AND KILLED IT ON THE THIRD SHOT!!! Now that might seem a silly thing to be happy about, but only to those of you who have never lived in an area where these filthy little buggers abound, they are really hard to kill. I don't know how many times I have squished one only to go and pick it up and have the little #$!#%^&()#$#@!*(&#@!# come back to life and scurry out of the tissue at me.
Oh, I hate them so much.
But I hit it perfectly and it was 'dead as fried chicken'. That will teach it to crawl around my house.
Wah-HA HA HA HA!!! (that is an evil laugh...just so you know)

Hey old next door neighbors from Cedar! I saw your blog through another's and had to check in on life at your house! Your kids are so cute and growing up so big! I hope Josh's second year at school is going well...tell me, is it easier the second year or harder? This adjustment is harder than I expected AND I only have one kid! Anyway, wanted to say hi and I feel ya on the whole cockroach thing - loathe is a perfect word to describe feelings towards them and I am a little grateful to hear that they are everywhere down here and not just at my house!
