My Review of Twilight!

*NO spoilers*
Now that I have mostly recovered from going to bed at 3:15am, I gotta post about the movie that kept me up so late!
I LOVED IT! It was kindof like seeing a different way of telling the same story as in the book, does that make sense? For almost every difference I totally understand why it was made, after all how do you condense a book of 498 pages into less than a 2 hour movie? Especially since the book was told from inside Bella's mind/viewpoint- so I can only imagine how hard it was to try to adapt that to the screen. They did a great job! I might have done it differently, but we all have ideas of what would be 'perfect' and I think they did a super job of making the hard choices of what to change or leave out! I so wish that they could put out an extended DVD version- like The Lord of the Rings did, unfortunately not gonna happen, but I wish! :)

Kissing scene= IS IT GETTING HOT IN HERE!!! Yeeks! Wowza! :)

I especially LOVE how well the different actors nailed the characters!!! I swear they were channeling Edward and Bella, and Charlie was freakin' hysterical-I actually liked him better in the movie! The kids at Forks High School were perfect and just as silly/ridiculous as most high schoolers are! Jacob was adorable, and is gonna be perfect! I have always liked Jacob- even if I was always firmly on Team Edward, I think that the actor playing Jacob makes him even more irresistable! :) It is going to be interesting to see what comes next!!!!

I wish that we had gotten to the theater a bit earlier so I didn't have to sit quite so close, only because there were quite alot of scenes where the frame went REALLY close up on Edward or Bella's face, so cool- but hard to see the whole thing from close up to a freakin' huge screen! It honestly makes me wish I could see the rest of the books on film!! :) FUN!

I WILL see it again in the theater, I just can't help myself! I know that it has been getting mixed reviews- but honestly when is the last time a movie got ONLY positive reviews? Most of those reviewers are cynical middle aged men....and what do they know?? Knowing what happens in the Twilight the book and even in Midnight Sun, certainly makes every scene even more interesting- but I think that people can totally enjoy it even if they haven't read the book (but what is wrong with them if they haven't read it yet?).

*sigh*

There is NO let-down at all, I just want to see it again! It is always hard with sooooo much anticipation about a movie but...
I loved it, I Loved it, I LOVED IT!!!

:D

I have been debating whether to wait for redbox or just go to the real theater. . . You make me want to just go for it! Maybe I will wrangle up some girls because there is NO WAY Spencer will go with me! ;)
