Breakfast of Champions!

My beautiful Emily Jayne woke me on Mothers Day with this spread:
Strawberries, String Cheese, 'Cars' Fruit Snacks, and Diet Dr.Pepper! I ate the strawberries, but 7am is a bit early for the Dr.Pepper...even for me! :D She knows me so well!!!!
Seriously how cute is THAT! :D I also received...
A beautiful Mothers Day Card, Flowers that will never die, and a laminated list of all of the things that Em loves about me! ;) Quite flattering. She is such a sweetie!

Amanda gave me this Rose Pen (made by her in her Art class at school) in this fabulous vase/pen holder...very pretty huh?

Em even helped Sam 'draw' me a picture and wrote To: Mom From: Sam on the back...so cute!
I have it, but no pic of the drawing...just imagine scribbles in all the rainbow colors and you pretty much got it. And I LOVE it, because Sam usually shows NO interest in coloring- the fact that Em had the patience to get him to 'draw' for me is just great! :D

And the best of all Josh got up early and let me sleep in, and (mostly) kept the kids away so I could catch up on some ZZZZ's! OH how I love sleep!!! What a great guy! He even made lunch for us all. Only two weeks until the end of his second year in Med School and so he is SUPER busy with the brain-pressing...after finals we are going to go out on a much needed and long overdue date, hopefully to see Xmen: Wolverine, Star Trek, or Angels and Demons...if only we had the $$$ to go see all three! LOL

I hope you all had a superb Mothers Day, heaven knows we earned it- right? :D

What a darling gesture! I can't say my kids would have come up with anything different. Lol! Looks like a great mother's day!!

LOVE IT!!!! That's what Mother's day is all about right? At least the sleeping part! Too bad it's already too hot to keep letting the kids play outside. I guess it's a good thing the pool is opened now.
