Hindenburg baby

Ok, the funny thing about being pregnant with our fourth child was that I kinda felt like I knew what I was doing, because...hello...deepeedee...fourth time (see Carlos Mencia to understand deepeedee).

Being away from Utah people gave me the strangest looks as I yelled at my other three kids while waddling around- obviously prego with #4. They were probably thinking "she is crazy!" Well, they were right, but I like it that way! :) I can't tell you how many times I was asked at Costco, Albertsons, the Dr's office, they would say"Are they ALL yours?" I was soooo tempted to say "Nope, I just decided to drag other peoples children (that happen to all look alike) to the grocery store...I DONT EVEN WANT TO TAKE MY OWN KIDS TO THE STORE!!!"

duh.

Anyway, tangent should be my middle name.

Little Elizabeth, I mean huge Izzy was due on May 29th...the Dr kept saying how BIG she was, looks like she was gonna be over 9lbs. I was like, no problem! Sam was 9lbs 6oz- that was huge and he came out just fine, tee hee. So on June 2nd- yeah four days overdue, just once I would like to have a baby early, five minutes would be nice-anyway early on the 2nd I started having contractions...they weren't too bad, or too regular but I was kinda done being pregnant so we went to the hospital! So while I was in active (the sucky craptastic part) labor and it was all I could do not to yell while pushing, the nurse actually told me to be quiet- ooooooo she just about became the first person ever killed by me. I was so tired, it hurt so much (through my epidural mind you) I was thinking; 'why is this so hard? Are my tummy muscles really that shot, crap!' Well, I might have been thinking something more colorful than 'crap'- but my Mother might read this! :) Then after she finally came out and the nurses weighed her, (then reset the scale and did it over because they were sure it couldn't have been right) and I found out that she was 10lbs 12oz- I thought, that's why it was so hard. *fhew*
So now she is two months old, cooing, gooing, holding her enormous head up, and she is soooo much fun. The kids love her to little bits! Amanda is like the best big sister, super helper ever. Emily wants to help and loves to talk to Izzy- from about 1inch away. Sam is always giving her kisses on her head and tickling her toes. Too cute!

Cute! Love your big babies with even bigger heads. Sounds like it was an ordeal. Don't they teach you in nursing school not to shushhh moms having babies? Hello -I would have killed her, you're better than me!
